Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated 2026-11-03.
The rule
Use Knotbind to run, check and protect systems you are entitled to use. Do not use it to harm anyone or anything.
You must not
- Connect, scan or send requests to a server or API you do not own or have no permission to test.
- Try to get around the limits of the service: an Owner's policy, an approval, a payment mandate, a rate limit, a plan limit or an emergency stop.
- Try to reach private networks or internal addresses through the service, or to attack, overload or probe Knotbind or other customers.
- Send credentials, personal data or other secrets to places that are not meant for them, or collect other people's credentials.
- Use an agent to deceive people, to make unauthorised purchases or bookings, to spam, or to act for someone who has not authorised it.
- Write tool descriptions or responses that tell a model to ignore its rules, hide a commercial interest or take an action nobody asked for.
- Use the Gateway for content or activity that your model provider forbids, or that is illegal.
- Share an API key or sign-in, or resell the service without our written agreement.
- Put something in the public directory that you do not run, or that misdescribes your service.
What we may do
If we think a workspace breaks this policy or puts others at risk, we may limit it, suspend it or end it. We will say why when we can. To report abuse or a security problem, use the contact form.
